Behavior management

In educational settings behavior management applies to the management of resources, the curricula and the classroom environment in a way that enables learners to access and engage with the curriculum. Behavior management also includes, as a response to the Statement of Inclusion and the social and academic aims of the National Curriculum, learners’ ability to develop positive outcomes for the future and the development of social skills (DfEE/QCA, 1999).
