idioglossia (n.)

A term sometimes used in LINGUISTICS for an invented form of speech whose meaning is known only to the inventor(s); also called autonomous speech or cryptophasia. An example is the idiosyncratic form of communication which sometimes emerges spontaneously between twins, and which is popularly labelled ‘twin language’ (though it is invariably only a deviant form of the local mother-tongue).
