True happiness... like no other
10:51:13 2023-04-25 1439

Whoever wants happiness without misery, pleasure without end, comfort without end, and life without death, should not look for it in this world.

Allah Almighty did not create strength in this life without a side of weakness, no beauty without some ugliness in it, no rose without it surrounded by thorns, no fruit without some peels on it, no day without night after it, and no riches without a need.

However, all pleasures, and more than what the human mind can imagine, are found in heaven, as it is true happiness, true comfort, and true life.

Our Lord Almighty says:

{So some of them are wretched and happy * As for those who are wretched, they will be in the Fire, for them there is sighing and inhaling * They will abide in it as long as the heavens and the earth remain one and the same. You are effective for what He wills * And as for those who are blessed, they will be in Paradise, where they will abide as long as the heavens and the earth remain, except as your Lord wills, a gift without reward.} [Hud: 105 - 108]

So whoever desires such happiness, let him seek what Allah has given him, the abode of the Hereafter, without forgetting his portion of this world.

“The happy one is he who fears punishment and secures himself, hopes for reward and does good, and longs for Paradise so he enters.”

Thus, “the happiest of people is he who abandons mortal pleasure for lasting pleasure” and “the best happiness is the uprightness of religion”.

Compared to this world, Paradise cannot be compensated for by anything, so the least of the world’s problems is that it is fleeting, and the greatest thing in Paradise is that it remains.

And whoever sells the rest for the fleeting, and the abode of God's bliss is in the abode of his temptation, he is either heedless or imbecile.

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, says: “Indeed, the happy one is the one who chooses (life) that will last, and its bliss will last. On a mortal, her torment ends”.
