Why does the good behavior of children change after puberty?

Parents feel great disappointment and frustration when several of their children show some noticeable changes in the behavior and manners that they were keen to raise him with.

He was young and used to be careful about brushing his teeth before sleeping, for example, but he no longer cares about this behavior... He also used to say (thank you), (please), and (sorry), but he changed his style except in limited situations, and he may become nervous and have a hot temper and not control his tongue.

There are several reasons why a teenager - or your adult child - may change his good behavior to bad, or abandon some of the manners he is accustomed to, or he may acquire some dangerous habits, such as consuming alcohol, drugs, or smoking, including:

First: his feeling of loneliness and alienation, and that he lives in isolation stemming from a lack of interest or exclusion.

Second: He is very violent, making him feel that he is not accepted among his peers and that no one in the house wants him.

Third: Excessive pampering, and allowing him space to spend and travel without educational supervision or accountability.

Fourth: Negative motivation, such as being told, “You have become an adult and you are free in your behavior.” Thus, he forms false convictions about freedom and acts within its unrestrained framework.

Fifth: Acquiring false perceptions from friends and those around them, about the fact that respect and the use of polite expressions indicate weakness and obedience, and that a young man must be indifferent and violent in order to prove his existence!

Sixth: He is going through a psychological crisis, such as failure in his social relationships. Perhaps these are some of the realistic reasons that push children to change their good behavior to negative ones, so it is necessary for fathers, mothers, and educators to make their efforts in communicating this for their educational function; In order to help their children, change their mistaken convictions, and correct their paths in life.
