Some people frame the information they publish in terms that generate automatic conviction in the recipient:
As if to say: Studies have proven…
Or: It was mentioned in reliable statistics…
Or: Modern science says...etc
This makes people reassured that the authenticity of this information cannot be doubted.
But what makes us reassured and trust what is stated as scientific facts?
Hence, the informed recipient must examine the credibility of what websites report and video channels and satellite channels broadcast, through two steps:
First: Determine the type of information: is it political, economic, medical, from the natural or social sciences, or is it religious or historical...
Second: Carry out the process of investigation and research to verify this information through:
- A question from a specialist, such as a teacher, doctor, or jurist. according to the type of information.
- Using search engines on the Internet and searching for this information on official websites known for their credibility.
- Review sources related to this information, such as books and research centers in your city.
- Discuss this information with your friend who loves knowledge.
After the truth or falsity of that information is proven to you, do not stop. Rather, write a report, even if just a few lines, to support that information and thank those who conveyed it, or respond to them in a scientific manner documented with evidence to disprove their information and reveal their fraud, to contribute to clarifying the facts and rejecting myths and lies.
