The Android 14 operating system contains many new features, especially for Pixel phones. Google has added some new customization options that allow customizing the home screen and lock screen and adding wallpapers designed with artificial intelligence technology.
The AI wallpaper creation feature allows you to add words that describe the wallpaper you want, and the phone will create several wallpapers for you to choose from, which you can then set as your lock screen and home screen wallpaper.
This feature is currently only available on the Pixel 8 series, and may arrive later on other Android phones and other Pixel models. Below we will explain how to use it in Pixel 8 phones running Android 14:
How to create AI wallpapers on Pixel 8 phones:
You can create wallpapers with artificial intelligence in Pixel 8 phones running Android 14, by following these steps:
Press and hold on any empty space on the phone’s main screen, then click on the (Wallpaper & style) option.
Choose (More wallpapers), then choose (AI wallpaper) in the upper left side.
Choose a theme from the available themes, then choose the words that describe the look of the background you want from the words that will appear to you.
Click the Create wallpaper button at the bottom, then wait for the phone to create the image you want.
The phone will give you several different images. Scroll through the images to view them, then choose the image you like. If you do not like any image, you can change the theme and choose other descriptive words, then click the Create wallpaper button.
If you like one of the new photos, click the check mark in the upper right corner of the photo you liked, then follow the instructions that will appear on the screen to set the photo as wallpaper for the lock screen, the home screen, or both screens.
