According to India Times, experts recommend avoiding eating the following nutrients to get rid of belly fat, which has multiple benefits for public health, in addition to losing excess weight:

1. Red meat

Red meat, despite its vitamin and protein content, can lead to weight gain due to its high levels of saturated fat, sodium and preservatives. Eating red meat can disrupt digestion and cause weight gain.

2. Corn grains

Despite being a vegetable, corn is a high-calorie, high-sugar corn that can spike your blood sugar and encourage fat accumulation when eaten excessively.

3. Refined sugar

Refined sugar provides empty calories with no nutritional value. Sugary drinks, loaded with refined sugar, overload the liver, converting excess fructose into fat, leading to weight gain and obesity.

4. Refined grains

Refined grains like white bread and white rice lack nutrients and cause blood sugar levels to rise, which promotes fat storage, especially around the abdomen.

5. High fructose fruits

While fruits are rich in nutrients, there are high-fructose varieties such as lychee, cherry and mango. Eating high-fructose fruits can lead to the accumulation of belly fat. Experts advise moderation and not excessive consumption of high-fructose fruits, and they recommend making sure to eat a variety of fruits.

6. High sodium foods

Excessive sodium intake leads to water retention, which prevents a flat stomach, and many canned and preserved foods are loaded with high levels of sodium.

7. Trans fats

According to Wake Forest University research, trans fats, found in processed foods like cookies and potato chips, move fat to the abdominal area, making it more susceptible to fat accumulation.

8. High-calorie coffee

Coffee contains many biologically active substances, including caffeine. But at the same time, coffee contains a large amount of cream and sugar, which leads to a significant increase in the number of calories, which can contribute to weight gain. Therefore, experts advise drinking black coffee without added sugar, milk, or cream to gain the benefits and avoid the negatives.
