A new study shows foods that are forbidden to be eaten during stomach problems
Dr. Anna Sviridova, a gastroenterologist, announced that during periods of exacerbation of gastritis it is forbidden to eat white bread, soft drinks, sweets and fatty foods.
And the specialist says in an interview with Gazeta.Ru: “It is forbidden to consume soft drinks because they cause bloating and tighten the walls of the stomach, which increases the pain in the case of gastritis.
It is also not recommended to eat fatty foods, because they stimulate the secretion of bile and gastric juice, which contributes to damage to the lining of the stomach.
It should also refrain from eating fast food such as hamburger and french fries because they contain many ingredients (pepper, salt, garlic, onions, mayonnaise, sauce), which stimulate the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach.
The doctor warns against eating pastries and white bread in case of gastritis, and they should be replaced with dried or toasted bread.
It is also not recommended to eat ice cream and cakes, because sweets and fatty foods have a bad effect on the stomach.
And she says, "If a person really wants to eat something, this is a sign that indicates an exacerbation of gastritis, meaning that he cannot fulfill his desire."
