Detection of the cause of high body temperature without symptoms
Dr. Alexander Mysnikov announced that there are three types of fever of unknown origin that cause a high body temperature.
According to him, there are three criteria for a fever of unknown origin: a temperature greater than or equal to 38.3° Cover a long period of the day; body temperature is high most of the day and for three weeks; And if the person is in the hospital and despite careful examinations, the cause of his high temperature has not been determined.
The doctor points out that at present, experts are unable to diagnose 20-50 percent of cases of high body temperature, which may be infections, tumors, rheumatic diseases or vasculitis.
And he adds: There are some medicines and medical preparations that can contribute to raising the body temperature.
He says: "These drugs are the traditional anticonvulsants, which are used in the treatment of epilepsy, as well as antibiotics. The body temperature rises due to these drugs in 5 percent of cases."
And, he adds, you should pay attention to "complex" infections. Pointing out that during his work as a doctor, cases of tuberculosis (tuberculosis outside the lung) were discovered in the internal organs of the body. Osteomyelitis is another cause of high body temperature, and this is a purulent disease that "dissolves" the bone. Cancer may also be a cause of high body temperature.
He says, "This is caused by leukemia. In 20 percent of kidney cancer cases, the body temperature can rise to 38 degrees Celsius. Therefore, the necessary analyzes must be performed to rule out or confirm this cause."
Mysnikov recommends a vascular and rheumatic examination in cases of elevated body temperature of unknown origin.
