Think of 3-5 people you admire the most in the world. These people could be writers, politicians, your neighbors, family, friends or primary school teachers.
Think about what you like most about these people; What do they do that sets them apart from others? How do they act in a way that makes them unique from those around them? What traits or qualities do they have that you would like yourself to have?
Describe the traits of each person you like in no more than 10 words, and then think about what you can do to engage in the same behaviors yourself. How would you like to be remembered by others? How would you like your legacy to be?
Imagine life after you're gone (yes, the world won't stop). Imagine your family and friends sitting together one day and talking about your life. What would you like them to say about you? What would you love to hear them remember about you? Which accomplishments would you like them to talk about?
Will the life you are living now lead you to that? If so, congratulate yourself. And if your life is not going to lead where you want it, you must know what you need to do what you need to change so that you can live a life that will make others remember you positively when you are gone.
Another form of this exercise is to imagine yourself 20 or 30 years from now. You reminisce and reflect on your life while realizing your achievements and feels happy for some of the successes you achieved, but...

● What are the things that you will regret in your life and the lifestyle that you live now?
● What are you going to do about it now?
